The incredibly powerful and villainous Thanos is currently kicking some serious superhero butt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War.
The intergalactic warlord and despot - who is also known as the "Mad Titan" - is one of the most powerful supervillains in comics and that has certainly translated well to the big screen.
The brilliant Jim Starlin created the character, who made his first comic book appearance all the way back in 1973 - and Goonies star Josh Brolin looks set to make him one of the most iconic bad guys in cinema with his brilliant live action portrayal.
