Video from the eyewall of Hurricane Florence as it slammed downtown Wilmington, NC with extreme wind gusts. The storm came on shore just to the east of town and made it's painfully slow crawl west and then south, leaving Wilmington in the worst winds for several hours. Gusts over 100+ mph were frequent especially in between the larger buildings as the winds were compressed and funneled through.
Tornado Trackers is made up of storm chasers Jeff Mangum, Jeremy Hamann, and Gabe Cox.
